Xerox representatives explain any networked digital device, including printers, are vulnerable to malware and other computer security violations. Color-Logic will introduce a new feature of its Process Metallic Color System at drupa. This feature, Security-FX, uses silver ink or metallic substrate to produce security effects when printing with metallic inks. more

Kodak Creates Virtually Invisible Ink

Kodak has introduced a new, virtually invisible clear ink called the NEXPRESS Red Fluorescing Dry Ink, for NEXPRESS production presses. Designed for security and inventory management applications, the ink is clear to the naked eye but fluoresces red when illuminated with an appropriate ultraviolet light. more

RR Donnelley and Document Security Systems Inc. Expand Technology Licensing Agreement
