OKI Data Americas Announces PaperCut MF

OKI Data Americas has announced the availability of PaperCut MF, a print job accounting and management software which works with OKI single (MFPs), and open platform MFPs. The company says PaperCut MF helps organizations accurately and conveniently account for, and recoup the costs of, printing and copying and also Papercut MF can be combined with a variety of card reader systems available through OKI. more

Dalim to Release ES 3 at drupa 2012

Dalim Software will release a new version of its online production management platform ES (Enterprise Solution) at drupa. ES 3 features a redesigned user interface and also has a PDF-enriching option and an API for easy connectivity to third-party applications. more 

Xerox Introduces Production Information Management System for the iGen4

Xerox Corp. has announced a Web-based tool for viewing with real-time information on the iGen4 press via PCs, Macintoshes, or tablets. The Xerox Production Information Management System shows real-time production performance, including machine status and productivity metrics, and allows operators to balance printer loads. more 

Hybrid Software Announces Five-Piece Order Lifecycle Management Tool Chest

Hybrid Software Inc, formerly Hybrid Integration LLC, has announced five new products to support its order lifecycle management strategy. The new tools will be introduced at Graph Expo September 11-14 in Chicago. The Hybrid tool suite allows printers to manage all orders, through the traditional bidding process, Web-to-print portals, online search engines, computerized EDI procurement systems, and other sources. more

EFI Acquires Prism Group Holdings

EFI has acquired Prism Group Holdings, developer of the WIN ERP/MIS system and QTMS shop-floor software for the printing industry. The acquisition was negotiated for Prism Group by Tennant & Russell LLC, a consulting company specializing in managing strategic moves by software vendors. more

Hybrid Integration Announces Global Expansion

Hybrid Integration LLC, a developer of order lifecycle management software for commercial printing, label, packaging, and wide format printers has announced the start of a global expansion program with the creation of its European subsidiary, Hybrid Software NV. The European arm is in Kortrijk, Belgium and will handle sales and support in Europe and Latin America. more

Direct mail and printing company Johnson & Quin is installing EFI's Monarch Foundation to replace its legacy MIS system to streamline processes, improve workflow, and centralize job information. It chose Monarch to support cost-based estimating, which it uses instead of standard price list pricing. more
