ASMP and CEPIC to Hold June Event in Barcelona

The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and the Coordination of European Picture Agencies Stock, Press and Heritage (CEPIC) will conduct the CEPIC Congress 2013 in Barcelona June 11-14. The two organizations have designated June 11th for the second annual "Photocentric Day," a day of inspiration and learning. more

GMG ColorProof Now Supports New HP Designjet

GMG has updated its ColorProof software to work with the new HP Designjet Z6200 heavy-duty photo printers. HP designed the new printer line specifically for photo labs, digital printshops, advertising agencies, design offices, and commercial printers. Combined with GMG ColorProof, it provides a system for printing posters and point-of-sale material and top-quality proofs. more

Hewlett-Packard Expands Retail Publishing Portfolio, Predicts 300% Growth in Global Retail Photo Publishing Footprint

Hewlett-Packard has expanded its retail publishing portfolio with new partners and systems in response to an expected $73 billion retail photo opportunity. The new systems include the HP Photosmart ML1000D minilab, the HP Photo Center 5 Premier, and the HP Instant Print solution. The company also has signed a customer agreement with German retailer Rossmann to install HP's retail publishing solutions across Rossmann's retail chain. The new HOP photo publishing systems will be shown at the HP booth at the PMA tradeshow Feb. 21-23. more
