Pantone Announces Certified Printer Program

Pantone LLC has announced the Pantone Certified Printer Program, a patent-pending, professional certification program designed to ensure accurate Pantone solid and process color matching throughout the production workflow. The program audits the operations of offset printers from intake and ink mixing to print production and customer handling. more

Color-Logic Announces Certified Graphic Designer Program

Color-Logic has announced a Certified Designer Program. To qualify, graphic designers must submit two artwork examples which have been prepared using the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System and then printed by a Color-Logic licensed printer. The first graphic designer to be certified under the program is Mark Mayers of Mark Mayers Illustration and Design. Mayer's Web site shows several examples of work done with metallic printing. more
