The new functionality includes the ability to book radio and TV ad slows as well a print and online in the same interface as well as integration with cloud-based CRM packages including Salesforce.com, SugarCRM, and Microsoft Dynamics. more
Mediaspectrum Sales is offering technology for delivery of digital ads such as banners, social, and search ads, and ads on electronic versions of publications for the iPad, iPhone, and other devices, as well as print ads. The company says the system can manage complex ad scheduling including pricing, targeting, inventory, and fulfillment. more
German newspaper publisher Sudkurier GmbH has commissioned Manroland subsidiary ppi Media to integrate ppi’s AdX miltimedia ad reservation software with SAP IS-M/AM, which it uses for billing ad orders. With the completion of the AdX installation and integration, Sudkurier will become the first ppi customer to enter and manage its online ad orders with AdX. The Sudkurier media company, part of Georg von Holtzbrunick Publishing, employs 700 and uses 1,500 freelancers in editorial and 5,000 in delivery of daily newspapers and distribution of daily mail and leaflets. more
Adobe Systems Inc. has acquired privately held Demdex, a data management platform provider and plans to add the Demdex technology to the Adobe Online Marketing Suite to create an audience optimization system. more

has announced support for Facebook advertising through Marin Search
Marketer, the company's flagship product. it will provide management, reporting,
and optimization capabilities for advertisers and agencies using
Facebook advertising. more
Czech security provider ALWIL, provider
of the Avast! PC security applications, is reporting extensive malware
infiltrations of Web ads distributed by a large number of legitimate Web
ad services, including Yahoo and Google Ads. These ads infect
computers when the browser loads the ad, without requiring the
user to click on anything, according to the Avast! report. more
Oracle Corp has announced general availability of Oracle Communications Marketing and Advertising, a new application for managing targeted mobile advertising and marketing campaigns. Oracle says this management tool is the first to support creation of ad campaigns for mobile devices targeted on subscribers' demographic, usage pattern, and location information. more
